Is a heat pump a good fit for a Windsor home?
For most homes it is. Windsor's warm inland summers and mild winters suit heat pumps, and homes with existing ducts can often reuse them after an inspection.
Which utility and rebates apply in Windsor?
Sonoma Clean Power supplies electricity and PG&E delivers it. SCP lists rebates for home heating, cooling, water heating and cooking upgrades. Check eligibility directly with SCP.
Do I need a panel upgrade to add an EV charger?
Not always. Windsor's EV checklist requires a load calculation that includes 125% of the charger load; if it exceeds the existing service, the plans must show an upgrade.
How are permits handled in Windsor?
The Town of Windsor Building Division accepts building permit applications online through eTRAKiT, and inspections can be scheduled there too. HAXX submits the application and meets the inspector.
