Utility, city and state rebates checked for your address before you commit.
Los Gatos was an early adopter of electrification rules, passing an all-electric reach code for new construction in 2019. Its 2026 amendments now reach existing single-family homes as well.
When gas or propane equipment is installed in a single-family remodel or addition, the Town requires electrical pre-wiring for a future electric replacement. HAXX includes it in the plan.
SVCE, the Town's electricity provider, offers rebates for heat pump HVAC, heat pump water heaters and related panel and circuit work. Amounts change, so confirm before you sign.
Bay Area Air District rules limit sales of new gas water heaters from 2027 and furnaces from 2029, so many owners plan replacements now.

“I purchased a couple of ceiling fans and was reluctant due to how old my house was with old wiring so I wanted someone professional and trustworthy. They have been both!”
“Prompt and professional - they helped run a new thermostat wire through a wall and crawl space.”
“I told him that the lights in my living room had been flickering for a while and asked if he could take a quick look. Instead of brushing it off, he immediately went to the main panel, asked a few questions, and then checked my subpanel in the garage.”
