Can a heat pump keep a large Danville home comfortable?
Yes, if the equipment matches the home's calculated load. Larger homes may need two systems or zoning. HAXX runs a load calculation for heating and summer cooling.
Who supplies electricity in Danville, and are there rebates?
MCE has been Danville's default provider since 2018, and PG&E delivers the power. MCE lists heat pump HVAC and water heater rebates; confirm current terms with MCE.
Does adding an EV charger in Danville mean a new panel?
Not always. The Town asks for a load calculation with each charger permit, and an upgrade is required only if the panel cannot carry the load. MCE's heat pump rebate also restricts adding EV charging for 12 months after install.
Who handles permits in Danville?
